Supporting Us
Since our founding in 1979, the Vietnamese Student Association of the University of California Irvine has continually endeavored to promote Vietnamese American culture to our campus, bring lively events to our community, and regularly host engaging activities for our members. As an organization that is completely student run, we would not have been able to continue successfully for this long without the generous support of our community. Some events that are only possible with the help of this generosity include:
- Our major events (such as our annual Rose Pageant and Vietnamese Culture Night)
- Reaching out and doing good in the community (such as service events and our Shadow Day event)
- Providing fun, engaging, and culturally relevant activities to our members (such as our weekly meetings)
Philanthropy
Each year, we also select a charity organization to donate our event proceeds to as a part of our mission to help better our worldwide community. The charity organization for the 2022-2023 school year is still being decided, however, past organizations that we have chosen include the Children of Vietnam Foundation and the Pacific Links Foundation.
How to Support Us:
We welcome donations of any amount and appreciate any support we receive. In addition, we can offer advertising/marketing opportunities to organizations and individuals. Specifics regarding sponsorships can be negotiated.
